Cleansing balm or pomade cleansers have become big news in recent years following the success of brands like Eve Lom. Balm cleanser is fantastic at dissolving dirt and makeup and gets skin deep clean, while treating your skin to the benefit of nourishing oils at the same time.

The rich buttery consistency of a balm cleanser sometimes makes people worry that it will leave skin greasy but it won’t. Cleansing balm is very concentrated, you only have to use a tiny bit and because you remove it with a damp, (ideally muslin) flannel, skin is left soft and moisturised but scrupulously clean.

There are no parabens, petroleum based oils or synthetic colour or fragrance in any of our balm cleansers or pomade cleansers, just pure organic ingredients like beeswax, plant butters and essential oils.
