Traditionally cleansers are in a cream, (remember your Granny’s Pond’s Cold Cream?), or lighter cleansing lotion consistency. The oils in the formulation dissolve the dirt, grime and makeup and the water helps them not to feel greasy.

Very good at removing makeup, cream cleanser is available for all skin types and can be removed with cotton wool, tissues or a warm damp flannel or muslin if you prefer the deep clean sensation of using water on your face.

High street cleansing lotion is often made from petroleum based oils which are thought to clog the pores and prevent skin breathing, and may also contain synthetic colours or fragrance which can irritate.

Our natural and organic cleansing lotion and cream cleanser never contains these, or any parabens preservatives, they rely on the cleansing properties of skin compatible natural plant ingredients instead.
