Before applying, powder the skin to prevent the blusher from looking patchy. Tap the brush against the back of the hand (or blow on it) to remove excess blusher. Apply the powder blusher diagonally underneath the cheekbone, or swirl onto the apples of your cheeks, using a brush. Always stroke the brush in an upward direction.
