Rose oil, rose water and rose essential oil, along with rose hip extract envelop the skin with a protective nurturing film; Rose petal extract regenerates the top layer of the skin, helping it to maintain a balanced level of moisture; and rose wax and beeswax protect against environmental influences.
Rose Day Cream Light has a calming effect on the skin and is particularly effective when used on sensitive and dry skin conditions, thread veins and mature skin.
Avocado, marshmallow root and sesame, almond and wheat germ oils help the skin to retain moisture, while anthyllis helps to soothe redness and couperose conditions, encouraging the skin to restore itself.

Squeeze a small amount of Rose Day Cream Light onto the palm of your hand and warm it by pressing your hands together. This makes it easier to apply. Gently apply to face, neck and earlobes while your skin is still damp after cleansing and toning. The moisture of the toner acts as a carrier for the moisturiser making it absorb much faster. Mix with a couple of drops of Translucent Bronze Concentrate for a tinted moisturiser. If you find Rose Day Cream too heavy in the summer months, try using Rose Day Cream Light, until you need the added protection and support of Rose Day Cream again. Rose Day Cream Light, or indeed any of the Dr.Hauschka moisturisers, should not be used at night time as the Dr.Hauschka regime believes that the daily use of night creams can mean that the skin becomes dependant on an external source of moisture rather than producing its own . If you have been using night creams for a long time, then your skin may need extra support in the changeover period to Dr.Hauschka, and in this case, we recommend a course of the Rhythmic Night Conditioner ampoules.
