Finally we have an organic line of products specifically created for teenagers. Affordable, effective and all-natural; Organic Young (or Oy! for short) is the new skin care range from Green People.

This new range has been created to combat problems often associated with teenage skin such as blackheads, pimples and other blemishes. It contains 90% active ingredients without any harsh synthetic chemicals found in high street brands.

Charlotte Vøhtz, founder of Green People formulated the first product over ten years ago to help ease her daughter Sandra's eczema and severe allergies. Now a fully-fledged teenager Sandra's skin requires something more aligned to her changing skin.

Sticking to the eco friendly, all-natural ethos of other Green People ranges, Oy! is certified organic by the Organic Food Federation.

The range of six bright packaged products includes:

Oy! Cover and Clear - Spot it
Oy! Peel Off Face Mask
Oy! Foaming Anti-Bac Face Wash
Oy! Cleanse and Moisturise
Oy! Face the Sun SPF15
Oy! Soft Glow Gradual Tan

We have had the products tested by some of our younger relatives and they love them. Much better for the skin than the usual junk food for skin marketed to teens.

Other Green People specialist ranges include the spa collection, products for men, products for babies & children and a no scent range for designed for sensitive skin.

We weren't given opposable thumbs for nothing! We use our hands for almost every daily task - from applying our make up to writing an email and scrubbing the bath tub - how fortunate we are to have them! But how many of us truly show them the loving tender care they deserve after a busy day of doing everything?

Given the hands are so useful they deserve a little looking after we think. Here are a few care tips for looking after your hard working handy hands:

1. Clip and shape regularly to keep your nails strong and prevent them from snagging or ripping. When filing make sure you do so in one direction rather than a back and forth motion. This will keep the ends even smoother and stronger.

2. Gently push back cuticles using the rounded end of a nail file and a good cuticle hand cream like Badger Balm's Cuticle Care. Take care however as the skin around the fingernails is very delicate and does well to protect the nail from infection. Gentle is the way with this one.

3. Exfoliate with a gentle scrub like the Sensuous Sugar Scrub by Green People for extra silky hands in preparation of a deeply nourishing moisturise.

4. Massage with a specially formulated hand moisturiser as often as you can - every chance you get if you want to keep the skin on your hands from ageing prematurely. Because organic beauty product manufacturers know how weary our hands get they've done well by them to create some truly restorative hand creams. Intensive Hand Cream by Lavera, Safety Gloves Barrier Hand Cream by Barefoot Botanicals and Satin Gloves Anti-Aging Hand & Nail Cream by Rosa Fina are some of the best that provide delicate care for elegant hands.

My mum always said you can tell a woman's age by the condition of her hands and in this day of botox and make up tricks it's harder than ever to guess a woman's age by her face wrinkles alone. Make it even harder for the guesses and look after those hands ladies - they deserve it!

Organic skin care and toiletries brand Raw Organic is relaunching with a new name and expanding its product range. The development of the Rawganic name follows research by manufacturer Marshall Curtis with customers who say it is easier to pronounce and remember.

Marshall Curtis managing director, Stephen Ley, said: "We've made it easier to pronounce. Customers were already abbreviating the name to Rawganic, so we've streamlined the name but lost none of the core, essential values of our products which are proving so popular with customers who care about what they put on their skin."

First to market under the Rawganic brand will be the company's new organic cotton facial wipes. Designed to make cleansing, toning and moisturising easy and simple, the facial wipes are tough enough to tackle everyday make-up and feature the soothing properties of aloe vera and green tea.

Dermatologically tested and manufactured in the UK using biodegradable organic cotton from sustainable sources, they are colour and fragrance free and contain no chemical nasties. The range is also non-GM and has not been tested on animals.

The facial wipes will cost £3.50 for 25 wipes. They offer excellent value for money and, like all products in the Rawganic range, are approved by both the Soil Association and the Vegetarian Society. They will be available from So Organic in the coming month. If you'd like to reserve some of the luxury new facial wipes, sign up here and we'll contact you when they arrive!

Over the next few months, the Rawganic name and logo will gradually replace Raw Organic on packaging for the full product range, including the award-winning wild chamomile and olive hand and body lotion, bilberry and juniper conditioning shampoo, and apple and elderflower refreshing body wash.
