This event is an event for people who organise events. Too many events to keep up with it seems to me! Any one can attend which is a great because if you are not in the event industry as such most of us host parties, dinners and celebrations from time to time so it's good place to learn tips on how to make your events more sustainable - no matter how large or small.
The Sustainable Events Summit is this Friday the 22 of May and will be held at One Wimpole Street in London. For your nearly £200 ticket you will learn the best ways to implement sustainable measures with ‘50 practical actions to make your events more sustainable' and hopefully be inspired to put them into practice.
Hosted by BBC One host and ethical living columnist for the Observer - Lucy Siegle - there will be a number of speakers offering their expertise including David Stubbs, Head of Sustainability, LOCOG (the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games) as well as interactive sessions.
